Who’s the creator behind this item?

World of Warcraft Spectral Tiger is one of the rarest cards produced by Blizzard Entertainment. This company is an Irvine, California-based video game developer and publisher. 

Silicon & Synapse, Inc., a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, was created on February 8, 1991. The three creators are alumni of the University of California, Los Angeles: Michael Morhaime, Frank Pearce, and Allen Adham. Later on, it became Blizzard Entertainment after Davidson & Associates acquired it. Shortly after, Blizzard launched Warcraft: Orcs & Humans. The company produced multiple Warcraft sequels, including World of Warcraft.

WoW (World of Warcraft) is a large multiplayer online battle arena role-playing game created in 2004. The game had become the fastest-selling PC game in the United States by December 2004. It had 1.5 million followers worldwide in March 2005.

What makes this card so unique?

The only loot card rewards two mounts: the World of Warcraft Spectral Tiger. When one player redeems a Spectral Tiger card from the Fires of Outland TCG expansion, they will receive Reigns of the Spectral Tiger and Reigns of the Swift Spectral Tiger. 

The Reigns of the Spectral Tiger generates a level 20, rare quality mount. In contrast, the Reigns of the Swift Spectral Tiger generates a level 40, epic quality mount. Plus, with additional armor on its legs and tail. The uncommon and epic versions adjust speed based on your central highlands riding ability. In addition, a single character can master both of them.

What’s Spectral Tiger worth today?

The World of Warcraft Spectral Tiger is the rarest of all treasure cards. And it gives you the most coveted, esteemed, and valuable mount in WoW. A Spectral Tiger card has a 1 in 484 chance of appearing in a booster pack. 

In December 2021, the rare Reins of the Swift Spectral Tiger treasure card sold for $4,900. Other auctions for the Spectral Tiger are now taking place, with one going for over $1,500 on eBay and some even higher prices.
