Jake is a dedicated and passionate Software Engineer that is beyond thrilled to be able to contribute to the initiative set forward by The Rarest DAO.

He was 12 years old when he first started programming, and that was the first time he experienced an unfamiliar feeling — he had complete confidence in what he wanted to do with his life. The next time he got a similar feeling was in college, when he discovered the revolutionary technological strides crypto had taken; he knew he had to be a part of it. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Connecticut, he has spent several years growing as a developer at a traditional FinTech company while simultaneously mastering his craft in development within various crypto ecosystems.

When Justin Denham reached out to Jake detailing the mission of Endangered Mints, Jake got that feeling once more. He knew that he had to be a part of Endangered Mints, helping to break technological barriers in the crypto space while fighting to make the dreams of Endangered Mints come to fruition. So of course he would also lend his advice and expertise with The Rarest DAO.

“There’s nothing more important than helping those who cannot help themselves,” Jake says, referring to the endangered wild animals being poached and hunted out of greed. “It is an absolute honor to be given the opportunity to do what I love while supporting such a genuine project, with an important cause, that is ambitious to make a real difference.”

As a secondary objective for the Endangered Mints project, he is eager to utilize a multi-chain distribution to demonstrate to the crypto community that every chain has its place and there is no reason they cannot coexist. “Innovation comes through collaboration, not tribalism or division,” he says. He also wants to place an emphasis on the viability of Proof of Stake blockchains, clearing up any misconceptions about NFTs and crypto in general contributing to climate change or negatively impacting the world.
