Someone once told me they didn’t feel right about seeking money for personal gain. They felt that we should use our lives in service for others. In the book The Richest Man In Babylon, the goal is to help others and the book encourages those with wealth to help more people. How can we help and inspire others if we cannot do this for ourselves?

My nature has always been in service of others. I have customer service experience servicing the hospitality industry for over 20 years. After reading The Richest Man In Babylon, I knew I couldn’t fully help others without becoming wealthy. So I created several online businesses in search of that wealth. My wife being from the Philippines, I sought to help those in her country by offering them employment opportunities on our online businesses. My wife has also offered her Axie Infinity accounts (a pay to earn crypto game) to those in her country, as another way for those who do not easily have the access to earn for their families.

The Rarest DAO helps those in the United States of America flatten the curve between the ultra rich and the everyday people. This I can also stand behind. When we speak of the “Ultra-Rich”, we speak of the “Greedy Rich”. These Greedy Rich horde wealth and the Rarest American Treasures that the every day people deserve to enjoy and benefit from.

When I was asked to join The Rarest DAO team, I was asked what could I contribute to the Organization. I knew right away that my experience as an online seller would come in handy for the DAO. I have built many websites, but never at this scope. I am proud to say that the designs you will find from the Logo to the Social Media artwork came from me and my team.

I have always been an artistic individual, graduating High School with a specialization of Graphic Arts. In 2001 I learned web & Logo design for musical artists. Web Design and Media Marketing went hand in hand with Online Sales, became a professional of Online Sales in 2017.

In November of 2019, I watched a Television Series called “Utopia”. The series sparked a curiosity in me to see what our world was up to. The elections were happening. Every store front had signs stating there were coin shortages. It was also the beginning of the pandemic, and stimulus payments were being distributed to Americans even when the United States were trillions of dollars in debt.

The more our country was printing money (backed by nothing) the more it de-valued the US dollar. This was evident every time I walked into a grocery store with $50 but walked out with fewer items, yet my raise at work was never enough to compensate for it. It was difficult and frustrating trying to save money for a home just to see the value of my dollar growing less in value, all the while that house grew higher in value. It was a lose-lose scenario.

This is called “inflation”.

There is a phrase used in the crypto world: “Taking the orange pill”. This means that I went down the crypto rabbit hole. The more research I did, the more I saw that “inflation” is the enemy. Purchasing appreciating assets (like crypto) is the solution to protecting our hard-earned dollars.

In “taking this orange pill”, this rabbit hole took me to a place that showed me that Blockchain technology is what makes cryptocurrency possible. Blockchain technology, a transparent system that allows the every day people see who owns what and when. It became so revolutionary that my research showed me that many large corporations like PayPal, Mass Mutual, and Tesla own cryptocurrency in their portfolio.

I then saw what else blockchain technology could do, as DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations) started forming. These are organizations not owned by a central authority. Like crypto, a DAO is also transparent, using code (called smart contracts) to execute agreed upon decisions, proposals, voting, and even the code itself can all be publicly audited.

We are seeing these organizations emerge. With simple lines of code the every day people can now join forces to create organizations that can retaliate against greedy companies that impose arbitrary rules and unnecessary fees that cause economic rents that we shouldn’t have to pay for.

The Rarest DAO is no different. We are retaliating against the greedy rich by offering a way for the every day people to join forces and to own Rare American Treasures that we believe could appreciate in value.

When the project was presented to me, I believe this project would lead as an example of how a group of like-minded people (with the use of Blockchain technology) could help the every day people.
