Why is this item scarce?

This iconic “Nostromo” spacesuit has a big ivory canvas paneled and quilted jumpsuit with cushioned back and forth pockets. There were two casts resin environmental regulators on wrists. And a unique eyeball-shaped helmet made of a cast fiberglass shell. With a domed clear faceplate nested in the lidded, ornately etched frame. Integral sculpting electronics, embedded LEDs. Also, a spiral phone-style cord remains on the back of the helmet. The inside of the helmet features a small red light over the mouth. And cast resin dynamic technology components.

It’s intentionally bulky and functional rather than pretty. Pioneered the realistic and gritty appearance of movie spacesuits in the same way that Star Wars—looking tarnished and outdated. The outcome was a sci-fi design that was so forward-thinking that it didn’t seem old even decades later.
