Who’s the creator of this comic?

New Mutants 98 First Deadpool was created in Feb 1991 by Fabian Nicieza (writer) and Rob Liefeld (artist/writer). Deadpool is a mythical figure who appears in Marvel Comics books. The character initially appears in The New Mutants #98. Deadpool is a supervillain with a healing factor and superhuman agility. 

In his first appearance, Tolliver hires Deadpool to assault Cable and the New Mutants. Deadpool began making guest appearances in various Marvel Comics publications, including The Avengers, Daredevil, and Heroes for Hire, after emerging as a recurring character in X-Force.

Why is this marvel comic valuable?

For several years, this book went forgotten until 1997, when Joe Kelly and Christopher Priest, who debuted with the all-new Deadpool comic, established Deadpool as the “funny, fourth-wall-breaking assassin” he is today. The hot book is the New Mutants #87 series at the moment, the first appearance of Cable, was born in the shadow of the mutant mania that was all things “X.” Nathan Summers, the future’s kid of Scott Summers and Madelyne Pryor, was sweeping the nation. In the first issue of Cable and Deadpool in 2004, the two would team together. The extra-lethal Deadpool, the Merc With a Mouth, is revealed for the first time in this comic book. In addition, Domino makes his first appearance in this issue.

What’s this comic worth today?

Over the next ten years, the book’s worth began to rise. Then came the film rumors, and things took off like a rocket. Low-grade copies are already available for approximately $100. An FN 6.0 graded by CGC will set you back $250. Along with the grades, the numbers are rapidly rising. CGC 9.6 NM+ earns $1,000 or more, while CGC 9.8 NM/MT earns $3,500 or more. At a Comiclink auction in 2013, the first and only CGC 10.0 copy of New Mutants 98 First Deadpool sold for $15,449
