Who was the mastermind behind Xmen 1?
The Xmen 1 is an American comic strip team with a revolving roster of mutants born with superhuman abilities. The group was founded in 1963 by the writer Stan Lee, and Jack Kirby illustrates it.
Since this issue got out, it has spawned dozens of popular characters, spawned countless spin-off titles, and generated toys, animated series, feature films, and more. An ironic amount of popularity given that sales of the comic initially lagged far behind other Marvel titles, to the point where it reproduced for a few years before being refreshed with a new casting in the 1970s.
How much do you think this one is worth?
While the rate of the original Xmen 1 in mint condition is uncharted, we estimate it to be well over $500,000. In July 2012, the highest valued print, a Pacific Coast edition rated CGC 9.8 NM/M, sold for $492,938. While in 2004, a CGC 9.2 sold for $23,000; in September 2019, it sold for $128,000.
What makes this comic book so treasure?
Xmen 1 was the first Xmen comic book. It went out in September 1963. This comic featured the first appearances of Cyclops, Beast, Angel, Jean Grey, Iceman, the villain in this comics Magento, and of course Professor X.
The plot focuses on the world’s first encounter with the Xmen. First, professor X explains what the school accomplishes to a new character/student, Marvel Girl, which starts the school’s story and the Xmen to interpret to readers.
Jean Grey played the Marvel girl. Magento strikes an army base, and the Xmen save the day. Cyclops breaks through the imprisonment that Magento builds using his power of magnetism. And that’s where the Xmen battles begin with Magento.
