Who is the person behind this item?

Original Macintosh 128K is the first Macintosh personal computer released under the Apple Macintosh brand.

 It comes with a mouse and keyboard, a 9-inch (23-cm) CRT monitor, and a beige chassis. As a result, it introduced word processing as a standard office function. 

It was easy to lift and carry the computer since it had a grip built into the top of the case. Originally, It got sold for $2,495 (equal to $6,215 in 2020).

In the United States, Apple Inc is a multinational technology firm whose main products include consumer devices, software, and online services. 

Apple is the world’s most valuable corporation when it comes to revenue. 

They are also the 4th personal computer provider by unit sales. And the second-largest mobile phone manufacturer, with a market capitalization of $365.8 billion.

What makes this item so rare? 

In the classic “1984” advertisement that premiered during Super Bowl XVII, Apple’s first Macintosh computer was the Macintosh 128K. 

For $2,500, it came with a black and white nine-inch screen, two serial connections, and a 3.5-inch floppy disc drive.

Those products that haven’t got manufactured in the last five or seven years are called “vintage” by Apple.

According to experts, the more valuable they are and the older they are, the more money you’ll be able to make.

How much is it worth today?

An original 1984 Mac will cost between $1,500 and $2,000,” according to the company.

Even if you don’t own the equipment, the original accessories alone can add up to hundreds of dollars to your wealth. 

For example, according to Wired magazine, an empty, well-maintained Macintosh 128K box with Picasso artwork sold for more than $500 on eBay in 2002.
